Entry Info
The Garden Route Giro entry fee includes everything you need out on the route — full on-course support, daily lunch, access to the rider-only chill zone, and a truly memorable gravel experience from start to finish.
Accommodation and optional extras are not included in the entry fee and must be booked separately. Please note that all riders who chooses one of the tented accommodation options are required to arrange their own accommodation for the night of 18 April.
You can tailor your race experience by selecting one of our curated accommodation packages. Daily breakfast and dinner are included in the Standard Tented and Luxury Tented packages, while other options allow you the flexibility to make your own arrangements.

BICYCLE TRANSPORT

Bicycle transport for the GRG gravel race is available from Pretoria and Johannesburg to the start venue in Mossel Bay. They have a unique “roll in roll out” system with no need to take your bike apart.

REFUND
POLICY
Should the participant cancel his/her entry/subscription, the following refunds shall apply:
In the event of cancellation due to death or hospitalization:
- No cancellation fee will be levied.
- Refunds up to 19 November 2026: 90% of entry fee.
- Refunds between 20 November 2026 to 19 February 2027: 50% of entry fee.
- Refunds between 20 February to 19 March 2027: 20% of entry fee.
- No refunds after 19 March 2027.
- Substitutions may be made (only until 19 March 2027): R650-00 per rider transferred.
- Entries cannot be carried over to the following year or any other future events.
- Please be aware: Only fully paid entries received by 19 February 2027 will qualify for event apparel.
